Kira Municipality MP, Hon. Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda has said he will quit the Forum for Democratic Change if the opposition party fails to make reforms.
Since July, Hon. Ssemujju Nganda has been at the forefront of exposing the FDC leadership led by party president Patrick Amuriat and secretary general, Nathan Nandala Mafabi, accusing the duo of introducing “dirty money” into the party and declined to reveal the source.
He accuses the FDC top leadership at Najjanankumbi of incompetence, and plotting to mortgage the opposition party to President Yoweri Museveni.
Speaking to a popular relevision in Kampala, Ssemujju revealed that he is ready to leave FDC and join another platform should the party leadership fail to change the alleged status quo.
He stressed that the FDC has contradicted its founding principles, adding that he does not see any reason for staying in such a party.
However, Mafabi, recently came out to dismiss the claims as false, further accusing Ssemujju Nganda of actually being the one who benefits from the ruling government, as well as conniving with the party founding leader Dr. Kiiza Besigye to capture the party power for ‘selfish reasons’.
