Pr. David Simwogerere appointed as a new bishop for North Buganda

Pr. David Simwogerere has been appointed bishop of the recently established administrative unit North Buganda Field by the Seventh Day Adventist Church. In November 2020, the North Buganda Field and the West Buganda Field were founded by the Ugandan Union, the governing body of the Seventh Day Adventist church in Uganda. Gen. Edward Katumba Wamala, the new bishop, declared he would prioritize unity in his pastoral work in the region while Gen.
