In Dokolo district, security authorities have apprehended an individual who has been impersonating a woman. The man, who goes by the name “Brenda” and hails from Amuru district, had been residing in Dokolo town council, presenting himself as a woman.
Dokolo Resident District Commissioner, Barbra Akech, reported that the individual claiming to be Brenda fell ill and was taken to Dokolo Health Center 4. During the medical examination, health workers discovered that the person was, in fact, male.
Akech further stated that an offer was extended to provide transportation for “Brenda” to Gulu, from where he could continue his journey to his village in Amuru. This offer was made due to concerns about his safety during his stay at the health facility alongside women. However, he declined the offer.
