Come September, a host of musicians are slated to hold events on the same dates including Sheebah Karungi and Cindy Sanyu who are still battling for Kololo Independence grounds.

Navio and Gravity Omutujju will also hold their concerts on 2nd September while Geosteady and Maurice Kirya have picked 8th September,l for their concerts.

Sheebah, Cindy Sanyu, and King Michael are also expected to have their own events on the 15th of the same month.

While appearing on NRG Radio Uganda, Nina Roz who is in charge of discipline at the newly formed Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) weighed in on the issue at hand.

In her own view, she narrated that such situation come up because artists lack discipline and respect for one another.

She added that as an individual who was selected to handle such matters, she has run out of options on how to best handle the situation and has since left everything in God’s hands to take control of everything.

Of course, it is a lack of discipline and respect for each other’s job in my own view. But well, there are some things that overwhelm me and I leave them to God to take control of the situation.

Not only having concerts on same date, but I see artists beating fans which is not as well a good thing.

It solely because discipline it’s forced on people and not every action needs a reaction.

Nina Roz, however, disclosed that she will side with Sheebah Karungi this time around because she already reached out to her yet Cindy is yet to.
