Decomposing Body Unearthed in Sheema

Sheema District – Authorities from the Sheema District Police are conducting an investigation into the discovery of a decomposing body of a middle-aged man in Nyanga ward.

According to Marcial Tumusiime, the Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson, the lifeless body was found in Rushoroza East Cell, Nyanga ward, Kabwohe division, within Sheema municipality.

The deceased has been identified as George Tumwebaze, a 54-year-old businessman and resident of Rushoroza cell, Nyanga Ward, Kabwohe division. Mr. Tumwebaze, who promptly alerted the police, stumbled upon the body while walking on his farm this morning.

Preliminary descriptions of the deceased indicate that he was an adult male of black race, estimated to be between 27 to 30 years old. At the time of discovery, the body was dressed in a black T-shirt but lacked trousers and underwear. It was observed that the deceased had sustained an injury on his lower left leg and buttocks.

As the investigation is ongoing, the authorities are yet to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
