A 66-Year-Old Man Kills Wife Over Conjugal Rights

Masaka District | The Black Examiner – A 66-year-old man has been detained by police in the Masaka district for reportedly killing his wife over marital issues.

According to the police spokesperson, Fred Enanga, the suspect is a resident of Kyambogo village in the Sssembabule district’s Nyabitanga sub-county. He is accused of killing his wife, Glades Nassazi; aged 40, over marital issues and alleged adultery.

According to reports, the couple had been fighting at home for unspecified reasons, but on the tragic day, the suspect grabbed up a hoe and struck the victim in the skull; instantly killing her.

Enanga stated in a statement that the killing’s motive was established to be jealousy after he; in this case, the suspect accused his wife of denying him his conjugal rights and cheating on him with other men in their home.

Such marital murders are still severely condemned by us. After receiving a hoe to the skull, the victim violently passed away.

The statement from Enanga continues, “We cannot tolerate such aggressive acts in interpersonal relationships or the larger community.
