Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU) has received four prestigious awards at the 13th annual Brand Africa: Africa’s Best Brand Awards held in Kampala. Among these accolades, CCBU was honored as the most admired brand in Uganda.
As a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA), CCBU was recognized as one of the top 10 most admired brands, particularly for its commitment to doing good for people, society, and the environment. It also earned the distinction of being the most admired non-Uganda brand in the non-alcoholic beverages category.
The awards are based on comprehensive research conducted by GeoPoll, a renowned mobile surveying platform, and the strategic analysis, insights, and rankings are provided by Kantar, a leading data, insights, and consulting company, along with the Brand Leadership Group.
Kirunda Magoola, the Director of Public Affairs, Communication, and Sustainability at CCBU, expressed the company’s dedication to becoming a comprehensive beverage company. He emphasized their focus on brands that can cater to diverse beverage categories, consumer preferences, and drinking occasions.
